She hates being unproductive and always has a project of some sort going, and you’re most likely to find her in the garden singing off-key pop songs while she cares for her plants. She illegally films every single one of the twins’ dance performances and rewatches them whenever she can. Very aggressively proud dance mom. She’s kind to every type of animal and will cry if she even finds out someone has killed a spider or worm near her.

Her makeup is kept simple, mascara and blush if anything at all.

Background

The Kryvonis family has always been a very close and loving one. From a young age Katya remembers happiness and love from her parents. She knew they were poor, but they always had enough to keep their children safe, with a roof over their head and that was enough. When she was around 7, her father, a ballerino, came into some fame and they got a significant amount of money, prompting her parents to feel comfortable having more children. They bought and paid off some land in the countryside and built a cozy little house and things were looking up for some time until disaster struck.

Aleksandra went to every one of her husband’s performances. His dancing was what had won her love in the first place after all. She watched from backstage. No one knows exactly what went wrong but one of the lights dropped during the performance, starting a fire that soon engulfed the stage- the building was old and ill equipped for such a situation. The audience was able to escape for the most part but those closest to the stage were trapped and soon engulfed in the pyre that took the entire building swiftly. Katya was left an orphan at 19 with four brothers to care for.

The young woman did her best to hold their family together but raising young and traumatized children while working full time at whatever jobs would take her to support them isn’t easy. She’s devoted the last ten years to being a mother and sister with Yuri’s help.

The twins followed in their father’s footsteps as dancers and signed with a company in America to bring more fame and money than Nicolas could have imagined to their family. Katya used that money to start a farm on their family’s property, and sustains a herd of goats. Last year she opened a dairy selling soap, milk, cheese, and other goods at the local market and online. She’s making a pretty healthy profit now and couldn’t be more proud of herself for it.
